Spiritus Christi Mental Health Center thrilled to hold our annual RIVERWALK event along the beautiful Genesee River in downtown Rochester. The Riverwalk is the Center's single fundraising event for the year and all proceeds from the walk go directly to our efforts of providing quality mental healthcare free of charge to our clients.
Why Walk?
Our 5K walk will have you taking a leisurely stroll along the Genesee River in Downtown Rochester. Aside from the beautiful views of downtown on a beautiful autumn day, walking in our 5K helps bring awareness to the community about the mental health needs of the marginalized. Walking also sends a message to those seeking care that their mental healthcare matters.
How does the Riverwalk raise funds?
After registering for the Riverwalk, individuals ask for donations from family and friends to sponsor them in the walk. On the day of the Riverwalk, walkers bring their donations to be collected by event volunteers. All of those donations (plus individual and organization donations) go directly to Spiritus Christi Mental Health Center.
